Romy Briner
Clinical Psychologist
Beginning therapy can feel like a significant step. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect and make sense of your experiences.
I work collaboratively with each person, recognising that every individual's story is unique. Together, we will explore the patterns, relationships and experiences that have shaped you, thereby creating space for new perspectives and the possibility of lasting change.

Adult psychotherapy
I provide individual psychotherapy to adults (18+). Some of the issues I can help with include:
-
Addressing anxiety and depression, particularly when these challenges have been longstanding and have felt difficult to shift despite previous therapy or other forms of support
-
Exploring and processing experiences from your childhood that can resurface when life becomes stressful
-
Addressing relationship difficulties and strengthening your connections with others
-
Processing grief and adapting to life after a loss
-
Navigating life transitions and building confidence in adapting to change
-
Understanding and working through the effects of trauma
Perinatal psychotherapy
I also support people during early parenthood; from the time they may be thinking of starting a family, through pregnancy and during the first years of their children’s lives.
