A bit about me
I am a registered Clinical Psychologist with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. I have been providing psychotherapy to adults in private practice for over 10 years.
I work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, childhood adversity, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, life transitions, trauma, and perinatal mental health concerns.
In addition to my formal psychology training, I have completed an introductory course in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy through the Victorian Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists (VAPP).
My psychodynamic approach has been further developed through close mentoring and supervision from an experienced psychoanalytic psychotherapist.
I worked in a specialist perinatal psychology practice for seven years, during which time I also received ongoing supervision and mentoring from a senior perinatal psychologist. I have completed training in the Circle of Security Parenting program.

The way I work
My therapeutic approach is grounded in psychodynamic and attachment-informed principles, with a focus on understanding the experiences, relationships, and patterns that shape how we relate to ourselves and others.
I aim to provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your experiences, develop a deeper understanding of yourself, and find words for thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to express.
I offer moderate- to long-term psychotherapy. Developing a trusting therapeutic relationship takes time, and meaningful psychological change often unfolds through regular, ongoing work together. Rather than focusing only on symptom relief, therapy also seeks to understand the underlying patterns that contribute to emotional distress and recurring difficulties.
I believe that regular attendance is an important part of the therapeutic process. I offer a dedicated weekly appointment at the same time and on the same day each week, with this time reserved exclusively for you.
Having a consistent appointment provides a reliable and predictable space for therapy. This continuity supports the development of safety, trust, and a strong therapeutic relationship. Over time, this consistency creates the conditions for deeper exploration of your experiences, relationships, and the patterns that may be influencing the challenges you are facing.
